Morans Falls

This is the first image in a new, ongoing series called ‘Portals’ which I’ll talk more about in the future. It was photographed at the top of 80m Morans Falls at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat in Lamington National Park. This image is a self-portrait that includes nine long-exposure images stitched together as a panorama. It will always be a reminder, a portal if you will, of a wonderful few days hiking alone in a forest, remembering that the world is still full of incredible natural treasures just outside the bustle of everyday life.
